11 years ago I went to the LORD and asked for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. After about 40 minutes of prayer and asking for the Holy Spirit to rule and reign in His temple, my body. I felt the wind blowing over me (I was in my house). Then the brightest white light you could imagine hit me like a freight train. I immediately started feeling like I was being electrocuted, with no pain. Weirdly enough, I remember thinking I bet my hair is standing straight up. Moreover, I had no concept of time. I have no idea how long the experienced lasted. I remember saying "LORD if this continues I'm going to die". Then the experienced ended. I wish everyone could have an experience like that, it would change the world. That experience is why no man could ever take away my faith or stop me from doing God's will. It completely changed my nature and would not be surprised if something on the DNA level was completely rewritten. That is why I was prepared to die before I would allow those genetic altering vaccines into my body.

I recieved a line of white skin inbetween my eyebrows after bumping my head very hard against some parking lod concrete while biking.

My sister had a similar experience years ago. This experience carried her for years in her strong belief and understanding of the bible. Now, decades later, she's find everything turned upside down. Has not been able to further her connection to the Holy Spirit, or the Father...... swears (not literally) by Jesus tho, even though her path has seemed to go wonky, and she's wondering why.

You do not know what you ask. How does one define God? The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God dispensed by Christ to His true followers on earth who have repented and follow God’s commandments. He is the third person of the Trinity.

No one can tell what is in the mind of God but the spirit of God. The Holy Spirit, once you receive His most precious gift, helps you in all facets of your life. He helps you pray, he convicts you internally and realigns you keeping you always on the right path, he helps you conquer your flesh (for without the Holy Spirit, one will always be a slave to the flesh), he gives you wisdom and understanding, and through God and Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for remission of sin he gives you eternal salvation by being born again. With Him indwelling within you, as Jesus said, you can move mountains with prayer.

One of the best ways I’ve heard it put regarding the Trinity and the Holy Spirit is this.

God is the Father and He sits upon the throne. His son Christ Jesus sits on His right hand as intercessor and mediator. Jesus lives ever to pray. Think about it, the Son Christ Jesus in all of his glory has no other work but praying. His whole being, his presence before God as the lamb who was slain is one unceasing prayer. And we read that that is the reason he can save completely, because Jesus lives to pray for us. He is the King in glory but his highest work is prayer that continually goes up to the Father, from Jesus a stream of intercession, “Father, Bless thy children, Bless my people on earth.”

And unceasingly, there comes an answer from Father, a stream of blessing. And unceasingly from the Son, there streams out a flow of the Holy Spirit to bring the blessing to us and the Spirit is in the heart of the believer to teach them what this blessing is that Christ has for them. To teach them all that is prepared for them.

What is keeping the commandments? the entrie Bible is a commandment and the only one who will strive to keep God's commandments are the ones elected for salvation at the foundation of the world when Christ made payment and demonstrated this feat at the Cross for a witness to the world of what Christ has done for His people. Faith in ( corect translation is "of")) Christ, believing, love God,etc.are the result of having been saved ( regeneration of dead spirit) first. We are born spiritually dead incapable of any spiritual response and can only come to Christ if we has been saved first. If we believe we are saved by anything we do then, it is guaranteed we are still not saved. We cannot accept Christ, believe in Christ, love God, understand His word and receive the Holy Spirit we must become saved first. How do you know if you have the Holy Spirit? The Bible says the Holy Spirit bares witness with our spirit that we are sons of God. And the evidence of this is an intense desire to do the will of God ( strong desire
in keeping His commandments), you will detest sin, a hatred for it, once you sin you are deeply grieved in your spirit, immediately repenting and turning away from sin. You realize you have nothing in common with this world and the things of this world are not important anymore. You are becoming Christ like ,and this is the will of God. If we don't exhibit these characteristics it is likely we are not one of God's elect.

But how do you answer without quoting scripture? But rather from personal experience. What does your personal relationship with Jesus look like, and how does the Holy Spirit work through you? This is what people need to know and hear. Everyone knows the scriptures already, but very few can witness the demonstration of those words in the lives of others.

Look at it like this. Imagine for a moment or even a few minutes being present in the spiritual realm which envelops us all here on earth. We can’t see it but it’s all around us. It’s very dark in the spiritual realm here, full of demons, millions of demons who’s only purpose is to exploit us human beings in any weaknesses we may have. Their leader is Satan who directs them and the entire goal and their only purpose is the ruination eternally of our souls, they have nothing else to do. Really contemplate on this fact.

Now, just like Satan’s army, God also has an army of angels much, much more powerful than these lowly demons. The caveat being that although these holy angels are here to protect us and guard us, we ourselves have to utilize them! These angels and their duty on earth given from God is to help and protect us, that is their job. We must pray! Prayer is our strongest weapon, it’s that simple. The Holy Spirit is God and when you humbly pray and learn to pray (like a physical muscle, your prayer or spiritual muscle must be worked often to grow and in a sense, level up) with the Holy Spirit within you, this is how you move mountains and truly save souls. God then moves on your behalf. Think of that power.


The demonic are like a military order with hierarchy. These, like agents of Satan here on earth (who are humans deceived by Satan who pray in the occult and in other circles against God’s followers) are rewarded granted their rewards are finite and lead to nothing in the end but being eternally lost. Just as Satan’s demons and his deceived human beings on earth who work to mislead and destroy souls are rewarded, so too does God have his army of angels and people on earth who serve him militarily and are rewarded.

Satan mimics or tries to do everything God does in order and structure.


Think about it, what did the demon tell Jesus when Christ asked his name? The demon replied, “My name is Legion for we are many”. What is the definition of legion?

a unit of 3,000–6,000 men in the ancient Roman army.


So picture if you will in the spiritual that is all around us, millions and millions of demons that do nothing but tempt us and have us fall into sin and depression and can give illnesses and do so many horrible things to us if we do not have the full armor of God equipped and/or allow them a foothold. This is why Jesus said the road is narrow, you have to walk the narrow road watching closely all you do because you’re in a war every second you’re breathing and it’s for your soul eternally. If you allow them in, their main goal is to not let you know they are there and to spend every bit of their time tormenting you in multitudes of ways and through many different forms of afflictions. They want you to die in your sin such as simply not forgiving someone and keeping you angry at someone. That alone could potentially put you in danger of losing your soul! You have to be so careful!

Think about it, Jesus said if you look upon a woman with lust you’ve committed adultery in your heart. Think about how often and how easy it is, if you’re not spiritually aware of the true consequences of doing such, people do this today? Think about the clothes women wear as normal wear to the store?

Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

I mean, do you not see how narrow of a road we need to be walking here? Do you not see why Jesus said we must be born again in the spirit? The Holy Spirit is the way, you must humble yourself and receive him to make it out of here.


Lastly, and back to the mentioning of the spiritual realm, now picture in all of the darkness, a glimmering light in the sky. That is the light of God, the light of salvation and eternal life. We all must walk this walk and all are walking in the direction of the light in our lives. Always keep in mind, you’re in a battle and that light is the finish line. Just keep walking toward that light and pray every day, ask God for the Holy Spirit to help you on your walk and you will make it to the finish line. He will keep you protected and give you awareness of your surroundings, he will give you wisdom and understanding, he will give you true fear of God, and he will give you peace on your journey. Have courage and pray boldly. Nothing can touch you. For if God is with you, who can be against you?

What I believe or not has no bearing on anyone else. I am no ones else's personal savior. The best anyone can do to model the presence of the holy spirit within them is to live peaceably alongside their fellow man without corruptions that would inhibit such.

I didn’t have an experience like that. I was praying alone in my closet. I always light a candle and pray in my closet with my Bible at hand. It gives me such a peace to be in silence and in the dark with the only light coming from a small candle, I feel closest to Jesus there and to the Father but always felt I was truly missing something. After I knew what it was and the truth was finally revealed to me ( I was missing the Holy Spirit!), I asked God if he would impart on me His Holy Spirit if it was his will. I simply asked him for this gift as a child would his father and as Jesus said we should do and I felt it immediately. I actually could hear a voice within myself for the first time immediately give me instruction. He answered any question immediately when I asked. It was unbelievable. I was repentant and had made my mind up of how fake and futile and how fallen this world is and I was done with it. I know He knew my heart and granted me this precious gift. It’s now about continuing daily in my journey and getting stronger and stronger and humbling myself daily and attuning my heart to his direction, wherever it takes me. I used to really be so worldly, just driven by my flesh in so many vices in the past. Sexual lust, females, alcohol, bars, smoking weed, just acting worldly. Granted I’ve always believed in Jesus and knew He was the only way, but I always figured I’d be saved.

It’s been quite a journey but I realize now it’s not just faith but repenting and truly being born again and this only takes place in the heart by the grace of God. In the past, I used to question where I was in life and lust after certain things in life. I realize now how ridiculously absurd that line of thinking was back then and how immature and spiritually dead I was, literally dead. I realize my life has been planned out for me since the beginning and God has been with me this entire time like a father with a toddler helping the little babe along. I realize my little family I have now and all the amenities I have currently is all I could ever need and am so blessed, beyond blessed to have what I have to continue you this journey which in actuality is a war with my family by my side. I now want for absolutely nothing, his grace is sufficient. I also realize what lies ahead is so much greater and I look forward to the wonders ahead!


I just want to help others get to the finish line as well and to never lose hope. It’s a war every single one of us are fighting. We all need each other. Satan wants division, the last thing he wants is unity. The best way to fight him is with prayer and praying for others. Pray for those you see stabbing some poor shop owner in some news article or video. Pray for those teens stealing from an elderly person that they will repent and see the path their on and where it leads. Pray for the souls of these terrible abusers of children, women, and the innocent that Jesus may move their hearts through the Holy Spirit and they will have a check in their consciences and stop completely hurting others. These types of changes can and do happen every day through prayer!

Pray for those who today will die across the world whether it be on their death bed or in a car accident and pray for any and all that if it be God’s will, that they may have a thought to accept Jesus into their hearts before their final breath. Pray for others, your prayer can and does save souls. It’s your greatest weapon.

Well said and is why I started this thread. It’s amazing hearing different viewpoints, different scripture, and different personal testimonies. It’s all about learning and growing in your faith and helping others to do the same. It’s figuring out how all of this works.

Yes, one must be a Christian but the difference being is anyone can call themselves a Christian. A true Christian is the difference in that a person must truly repent and not go back to willful sin. This is why God truly judges the heart and wouldn’t give such a holy gift if the person was not ready. That’s just my opinion. When you receive the Holy Spirit, it changes you forever. You have zero desire to sin. None. You know the futility and stupidity in sin and that it leads no where. God rewards you when you repent!! Trust me, He rewards you big-time. Giving up the flesh is extremely hard, He knows this as He made you. The best way to worship God is to give up the flesh! He doesn’t want you to just say you love Him, prove it.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Would you put your hand on burning orange grate of a gas grill on high? No, because you know that it’s going to hurt you badly and you know how long it’s going to take to heal that burn to get your hand back to normal and you also know it’s going to leave a scar. It’s the same analogy with sin when you’re born again. Sure, a person could go on and willfully sin and maybe have fun for a brief bit (in all actuality, you won’t have fun because you’re no longer your old self) but afterward, if they truly are in Christ, will find themselves in sheer disappointment and shame for it because the Holy Spirit will convict their conscience and heart and the person realizes they’ve willingly hurt God and let him down.

It’s pointless and leads absolutely no where and only hurts you, there’s zero point to it once you’re awake. You’re different, be prepared to look at everything differently. Be prepared to lose friends and even family members. It’s all good though, you’re leveling up. God is sending you blessings and this will become obvious to you as you grow in hindsight.

For example, I no longer look at a female walking by scantily clothed who may be drop-dead gorgeous as I used to. I now pity her and will even send a prayer up for her. That’s the difference of me then and now.
