Question: What was the first real school shooting? Talking grade school, middle, high school where the shooter targets innocent kids.
I cant remember, but way back when I was in school there were no events like this.
The Texas Tower Sniper event in 66 seemed to be the first open-air public shooting, but when did the K-12 shootings start?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83518965 Columbine, maybe? I will get flamed for this but..........I really think the shoot em up video games that the kids immerse themselves in is contributing to this. Nutcases are unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality.
Quoting: Skorpio You're just entirely wrong. Until extremely recently violence has been way down in America...
Like abnormally low (pro tip the countries that CLAIM lower murder rates than we had in say 2016 are outright doing their stats differently. If you calculated their numbers the way American numbers are calculated there's very few places ON EARTH with lower murder rates than the US had)
We always get beat with this muh violent crime rates in Europe are so much lower bullshit too which is just an outright lie!
Have you ever walked into an American bar that had public service announcement posters telling people not to beat up ambulance personnel that show up at the bar to treat the injured?
Because there was a nationwide campaign a couple years ago in England that plastered those posters in EVERY BAR IN ENGLAND!
Things you will be labeled a violent felon and go to prison for as much as a decade in America aren't even really considered crimes in a lot of places.
Folks need to wake up, they are being lied to so much more than they think they are and it's unfortunately working all too well as can be seen by all the hand wringing and muh qualified veterans whining in this thread.
