They might try some duel membership but all their oil businesses are basically American companies, they did away with Aramco but are still heavily dependent on the American technology as well as a lot of American employees that do the jobs. Their investment funds are all dollars which is in the trillions or close to it, if they try to dump the dollar they would do a lot of damage to themselves so I will say not happening |

At first they will but BRICS already announced the oil will be denominated in an SDR type currency...or basket of member currencies proportioned based on several economic metrics.
