It's not really about not caring, but choosing very deliberately what you care about, keeping in that mindset, and not being emotionally reactive. It takes a lot of work to re-program attachments, but so so effective.

I know a lot of people worry excessively about every little thing everyday whether it be money, everyday living, etc. etc. It is almost like pick and choose your battles. That is just a tiny part of the whole picture.
