"No casualties were reported at the airfield, where the cause of the detonation is still being investigated, the Defense Ministry added.
The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed that a series of explosions happened near the town of Novofedorovka in Crimea, noting that they were caused by a detonation of several rounds of air-launched ammunition at the Saki Airfield located not far from the town.
The explosions left five people injured, including one child, Minister of Health for Crimea Konstantin Skorupsky stated. Four of them the injured were released after receiving medical assistance, while one is being operated on due to a chest trauma sustained as a result of a blast.
The detonated ammunition was stored at the airfield's bunded storage area, the Defense Ministry said, adding that the ensuing blasts did not result in any damage to aircrafts. The resulting fire is in the process of being put out, the ministry elaborated.

The ammo's detonation did not happen due to shelling or an airstrike on the airport, the ministry underscored. The cause of the incident is being investigated, Moscow said."

If it weren't for Ukrainians claiming 12 (TWELVE) missiles strike Crimean base, when clear there were only 2 (TWO) explosion, I would have bought into propaganda.


Also, Ukraine claimed they strike the base AFTER Russians posted in on social media.


Ukraine always announce "successes" even before they happen. just like ISIS claiming a terror attack after a gas pipe blew up, or some shit, just to stay relevant.



If those would have been Ukrainian missiles, Russia would have jumped all over the place, happy that Ukraine gave them a reason to wipe them off the Earth.

So, I don't know what some people are smoking, but that was an accident, or Ukraine launched 12 missiles, NOT HIMARS, but Tokcha-U, and 10 were downed, but Russia would had anyway said that it was a missile attack.



I really have a hard time remembering any instance when Russia DENIED a missile attack against them when it happened. They ALWAYS admitted they were hit.

Yeah just an ammo dump that just so happened to explode all on it's own during wartime, was but an accident.

A simple search will show that this happens a lot more often than you think, even the US is not immune.

Why use long range hyper-sonic missiles when the Space Force can instead use high powered laser defense satellites which surround the Earth and can aim high powered laser beams anywhere (faster than any hyper-sonic missile can) and cut thru just about anything and instantly ignite it such as this.

If they really have not been able to trace in inbound rockets, it might not be HIMARS, but rather a high flying stealth drone or F-35 dropping some of those new small diameter bombs from overhead.

I read up on those small diameter bombs about 2 years ago when talking about nanothermite. If you have been investigating the 9-11 WTC demolitions much, you know that the US military developed a new explosive, whose explosion velocity could be fine tuned to change blast characteristics, and noise profile.

The other thing this weapon can do, is act like thermite of course, and give off significantly more energy per lb of active material than other explosive agents. And do so at a higher temperature.

This could make it a weapon suited for a small stealth drone, that whose bombs would be so small as to naturally have very little radar signature, be reasonably quite as far as explosives go, etc.

Just another possibility. What do I know? Just another guy pecking on his keyboard.
