In astrology, apparent retrograde motion of a planet can signify a chance to revisit past events and right wrongs, make things right, make corrections, tie up loose ends; at least that is my understanding of it.

It doesn't seem negative, people talk about the potential for miscommunication or misunderstanding, or a lack of progress, but I'm not sure that's the best way to look at it, it's more like an opportunity to correct misunderstandings or clarify goals, make plans for future action, and be ready to execute those plans when the time is right.

A quick read through this thread tells me that two stars 1,800 light years away collided in 2017. My limited math skills tell me that the light from that explosion will become visible to us 1,800 years after the explosion, so it would seem to me that we have another 1,797 years before we see the explosion, and then a very long time after that before we hear it. What am I missing?

Fair enough. The article that dealt with the colliding stars was a little confusing. Regardless, the "Brown cheat before May 15" could refer to Michael Brown. He was a corrupt D C councilman who was the son of Ron Brown. Ron Brown was a Clinton crony and he died in a plane crash in 1996 when he was Clinton's Commerce Secretary. His son, Michael Brown, cheated when he accepted cash from an FBI agent in a sting operation in 2012. It was a big story at the time.
