There is no need for any area to suffer from drought as there are machines, even bill boards designed to collect H2O from the air and convert it to water. We did that daily with dehumidifiers. Dehumidifies can also be run off of solar. So sad that life-saving technology is kept from the public.

I don't remember ever having to wear a sweatshirt in August before but this year I have had to wear one at night. The high temps are barely breaking 80F and sometimes are remaining in the high 70's.

In 92 it was way worse in the Southwest of the UK than it is right now, all the trees lost the leaves 2 months earlier than normal, all the plants and grass wilted and died, looked grey and dead as far as you could see, I remember traveling from Exeter to Bristol and everything along the 40 mile drive was dead. the ground went so hard we had to abort installing fence posts for 2 months as we simply could not dig the holes in the ground, our lorry left trenches in the roads everywhere we drove and the tread filled with asphalt, we are no way near that yet.
