The glow sticks and clear balloons arrived! The clear 24" balloons are really awesome and made well it appears, so far...I'm going to put a glow stick inside of one or two for my grandson and I...We'll have a blast

But I promise to blow it all to hell as soon as time and logistics allows...

I’m watching my grandson for a few days, and blowing things up in the house with a two year old is not exactly appropriate lol but all the stuff has come in! I’ll buy the food stuff the day I’m ready to shoot it, but I think glow stick juice inside the pumpkin is going to be pretty Cool. And the clear balloons are awesome. I plan on lining up maybe five in a row, so that should show us the bullet going through them and the air pressure in front of the bulletin. That’s the experiment anyway. Well, one of them.

I was 6-7 when my dad started bringing home half sticks of dynamite from work and showed me how to squish things around the yard. I still love the boom.

Ok, even though I thought I was going to get some rest from my travels, I have spent the last two days taking care of a friend/client...but I did manage to shoot some slo-mo of the whipped topping in a can exploding!

I must isolate the pics, but as promised, I am working on it...

Whipped cream can pics are waiting for approval, and then I'll post them.

Here are the Redi whip cans that got obliterated with a 30-30

Even though they are filled with Nitrous Oxide, the cream smothered out any possible ignition...

There should be four cans, I may have to double check downstairs to make sure there are no missing pieces...Reddi Wip autopsy lol

Yup, found a head...of one of the cans. it looked like a piece was missing when I posted the photo...

Hey Brief!

I’m traveling so sorry for the shorter “thank you” but I appreciate you experimenting with shooting the Redi Whip and the Silly String.

I’m traveling at the moment so pardon the “brief” response but that’s pretty cool.

Looking at the Silly String, did it come out in a large blob? Trying to decipher the image.

That Redi Whip can looked pretty impressively shredded, lol.

Yes, one of my favorites is the green blob of silly string LOL

I pretty much knew what to expect, other than the possible reactions with the Nitrous Oxide. They use N2O because it is fat soluble and foams up the cream by 4 times...And accelerates explosions!

The whipped cream explosions are a work of art

+1 for buying the name brand product as well

That is a testament to the top notch quality of operations

They specified, and I knew the key ingredient must have been the reason...So I brushed up on my chemistry first lol

I believe I see the projectile in the second frame. Then the pressure bursts the second balloon, before putting a hole in it!

Now we know where that train load of Ammonium nitrate went.

I made it rain with tannerite, which is ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder...Maybe i should keep those things quite lol

At Henryville Forestry, the kids and I plus an old friend of mine who wanted to witness our experiment. I had already bought several cans of tannerite and was waiting for the weather to be just right.

The day came and we went to their firing range and I stacked two cans of it on a mound of dirt, with a small divot and walls to push the shockwave upward as much as possible.

I shot it with my 30-30, like the balloons above, and after the explosion, it took maybe 10-15 seconds for the fist giant drops to hit us. So we grabbed our gear and ran for the car.

We flooded that place with a torrential downpour that lasted about 10 minutes and then just stopped. A foot of water was running down the roads!
