I was going to buy a .308, but with the scope, and I have a better one being shipped, I don't need or want a .308

The .308 is a 7.62 X 51

There's not much difference between them and the Mosin has a long history of accuracy and dependability...

My Mosin is very accurate. I paid an extra $20 for one made by Tula, it was made in 1938. I put a Chinese rubber pad on it, replacing the steel one. I recommend doing that, it’s not as brutal and it makes the stock a bit longer. Apparently the designers took in to account the heavy wool coats the Russian soldiers were wearing.

My .308 is hella accurate, it’s a Tikka.
