Red dye experiment.

My friend and I made a bet.

I suggested that if we put a full bottle of red food coloring in a container of clear water, based on many calculations for both ballistics and water agitation and distribution, and of course the length of time it takes to distribute the dye throughout the volume of water, that it would explode completely mixed, and look like I had mixed in the dye before shooting it.

He said it would push the bottle out with the explosion, and if it leaked, it would be a few drops...

I chose to shoot it with the AR-15 5.56 x 45

The calculations indicated that it was the best chance to succeed, provided i can hit my mark...and I always do.
