Can lava lamps lose their ability to um, work? I mean, the light still works, but the goop inside won't rise and fall like it did 20 years ago lol

You have to warm it up and spend a couple of hours before it's pumping the fluids and the excitement really begins...But they are expensive to keep hot all the time, they take a lot of energy to keep them turned on...
