Britain always hated Joan of Arc. Since, you know, she was a hero anointed by God, to defeat them. The English, being a race of sociopaths, always have to be the hero of their own story(yet they are the villain in everyone else's story).

A new theatre production will see legendary French heroine Joan of Arc made into a non-binary character

Again, with this bullcrap.
How long will people be pushed and pushed into accepting this nonsense before they finally fight back against it?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32095029

Not to sound pertinacious, but in history class we were taught that she always wanted to be a man. To the extent that she dressed and acted like one for the period she lived in.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83493070

There were other reasons for the way she dressed, they are conflating her situation into something it was definitely not.

See the 1928 silent film masterpiece "Joan of Arc" and you will understand. She was up against the evil Catholic Church, who tried to trick her during her "trial" and burned her at the stake anyway.
 Quoting: Crypto-Tard

Wut? The Roman Catholic's didn't burn her at the stake, the English did. England was curb stomping France. Then, all of a sudden a peasant teenage girl rises up and says she was ordained by God to take a city back from the English. The French Prince, screwed beyond screwed said "go for it" and gave her weapons, armor and troops.

And she managed to defeat the English.

That paints England squarely in Satan's camp. That is why the English are so hell bent to malign Joan of Arc. She is a reminder, that the English are children of Satan and hated by God.

Remember, the British were the only European Power that didn't try to push Christianity when they went Empire building. And also, Britain quickly became enamored with the occult and foreign/pagan religions.

Re: UK: Women Getting Cancelled - Joan of Arc is now "non-binary"
Anyone here recommend any good books about Joan of Arc?

I have someone in my circle who really loves reading and want to get her a gift. Funny cause this has been on my mind for a few days and then THIS news comes out chuckle

My original intent was just to get her a book about a real woman from history that displayed extraordinary will and knew God. This was the only name that came to mind that met those 2. The other being Anne Davison who was the first woman that sailed the Atlantic Ocean solo but I have no clue if she was Godly.

Some of you on here might see me as a "he-man woman hater" type of person but I assure you I am not. The women the system wants us to admire are just foul creatures chuckle
My posts that can be misconstrued as "extreme" and/or "radical" are satirical.
