British Man Restrains Woman Who Stripped Down to Her Underwear, Tried to Storm Cockpit While Screaming “Allahu Akbar”

A 35-year-old British man heroically restrained a woman who stripped down to her underwear and tried to storm the cockpit while shouting “Allahu Akbar” on a Jet2 flight from Cyprus to Manchester.

The incident happened on August 9.

The woman claimed to have explosives and asked children on the plane if they were ‘ready to die,’ the UK Mirror reported.

According to a witness, the woman claimed her parents were members of ISIS.



The woman was able to storm the cockpit twice so Phillip O’Brien jumped into action and restrained her, according to reports

“I spoke to staff and said, “Why have you not put her to the floor?”” O’Brien said according to the Mirror. “They said, “We’re not able to”. I said, “Well I am.””

“So when the woman went to the cockpit again I took control, took her to the ground and at that point the pilot did an emergency landing to Paris,” he added.
