Funny isnt it? So smart, best grades, top of the class, much talent. But they are not smart enough not to get the kill shot. See, that is the difference between pure intelligence and wisdom. Ask astro, he so smart he cant even see the difference between photography and CGI.

So I just visited with a friend I grew up with. She was in the gifted and talented program with me and I can attest that she is exceptionally intelligent. She is a doctor (psychiatrist). She was talking about how "Trump gave her PTSD"

I can see the media manipulation, propaganda and brainwashing from a fucking mile away. I do grasp that most people seem to prefer not to think for themselves, but I just don't get how so many people, especially highly intelligent people, can be so easily bamboozled.

I say this knowing that I am basically "among my people" ... I know that MOST of you, like me, can see through the bullshit. So I'm not trying to brag here, but genuinely in the interest of hearing your thoughts on why people who possess the intelligence to theoretically be able to see the world for what it is, instead fall into the same trap that seems to me should be reserved for retards only.


I have noticed that REBELLIOUS people tend to be the group who most consistently seemed to know to avoid the vax, to question authority, to recognize that the mainstream media is pure propaganda. So my theory is that there is a segment of society which is effectively "immune" from the brainwashing, but that this occurs mainly because these people, somewhere along the line made a conscious choice to think for themselves, to not blindly follow the heard and to do what is right/logical even if that is not what is EASY.

I will also add that almost to the T, every highly intelligent sheeple that I have encounter has been a hardcore liberal, and live surrounded by liberals, have liberal families, etc. So this would point towards a peer pressure explanation.

My thoughts on the brainwashed smart people is that these are the people the learned to play the game, do their homework, kiss up to the teacher, etc because generally life rewards those traits, and somewhere along the line those behavioral patterns overtook their natural intelligence to the point where individual that is (generally) not rewarded by our society, OBEDIENCE is, and like a lab test monkey that will push the morphine button until it dies because the reward system has over-ridden their common sense and survival instincts.

I do "get" why these people get bamboozled, but there is also a part of me that is just flabbergasted at how stupid our society is and as a result how people who have relatively or even exceptionally high IQ can still be manipulated by something that seems to me (and probably to you) to be painfully obvious.

As you note, this is about thinking for yourself. Arguably, as I’m sure the ‘liberal types’ would retort… we’re the brainwashed ones, being influenced by ‘social media’ instead of ‘trust the science’.

I get it, because I was once one of their ilk. Arrogant in my ‘university education’ thinking I knew it all.

Except, I knew nothing. And life events opened my eyes and forced me to start to reassess the programming that I was operating under.

The first trap that people fall into, I’ve found, is the New Age programming… so they think they’re even more special, because now they’re not only educated, but spiritual too.

Yup, been there briefly. BUT- anyone with a SOUL, can pull that self-indulgent shit apart in a very short space of time.

Anyone with a genuine desire for TRUTH, will keep searching. Until they find something that feels right to them. By that point, you’re already so far removed from the normies that you may as well be speaking an alien language.

Truth is a journey. Education is but one small step.

Ego may be at the root of it. It’s terrifying to accept that you just don’t know- you have no control, and life isn’t anything that you thought it was.

Oh come on, that is simply not true. IQ and courage are exclusive traits...mostly at least I'm sure. These "intelligent" people simply have vested interest in the society that deems them "intelligent" and can rationalize the truth away better than most because they focus on thinking exclusively and can ignore feelings on a subject.

I personally had a hard time in Calculus 2 because it all seemed like voodoo to me. It's a really abstract subject. After I could believe in it on a gut level it became easy. I could have just memorized the steps plain and simple, but I have a hard time remembering things I don't believe in and it drains my enthusiasm. These "intelligent" people are better able to learn things they don't believe in. That's my opinion.

Yet you were inquisitive and taught yourself.

It is people who watch and believe the media or main stream news..

Yeah there are issues with how intelligence is measured and perceived in society, largely due to our education system.
Being good at taking exams, or having a good-great memory, an exceptional ability to store and parrot information (think Doctors) does not equal actual real-world intelligence.
Another factor is T.V. personally I have not had one for many years but when I visit friends or family who do watch I get curious, even angry looks when I see directly through the "news", adverts and agenda laden soaps and braindead reality shows and LOL. I do watch choice TV shows and movies via various means but if I detect too much (or too obvious) programming I do not continue watching.
There are other, more minor factors I can think of but those are the main two.

Ability to rote learn is not high IQ. Don't correlate high IQ with the job/position of the person. High Intelligence is ability to connect the dots. To take a raw data input, process it and reach a conclusion.

Most people you see aren't able to process data. They're aren't CPU's who'll handle whatever you throw at it, they are like storage drives which will regurgitate whatever it is stored in it, whatever was "taught " to them. Doctors, engineers, workers they all just follow their codes, their instructions, the predetermined commands they can execute under their jurisdiction.

I read about a year ago a little survey in Russian. The survey about educational level of vaccinated people. The results were - I think you've already guessed - the higher educational level is, the higher is the percentage of vaccinated.

My opinion is that the really smart ones understand at an early age (say between 12 and 16) that the system is a joke and they then use their intelligence to avoid being a part of the system as much as possible.

If you want to find the smart ones, look to the drop outs.

I read a study that suggested it was more of a typical bell curve distribution… with those refusing the jabs distributed at the very low and very high ends of the IQ scale. So for example, PhDs (for what that’s worth- but I guess they “know the science”) also were more inclined to refuse. As were those with very low IQ but likely a sensible mistrust in big government.
