Bear spray is no joke. Much stronger than pepper spray which is stronger than tear gas.

I used tear gas on myself when I was younger and very drunk. I wanted to see what it would do to somebody else if I had to use it in an emergency situation. So I held my eyelid open and gave a good squirt in one eye in the bathroom in front of a sink. Both eyes closed immediately and were burning. Even with access to running cold water, it took 15 minutes to be able to get partial blurry vision.

Couldn't imagine how painful the bear spray would be. As this video makes clear, you can't see.

It was a nigglybear attack!

I've never used bear spray so I had to look it up. From google .. "At very close range, the pressure can cause permanent eye damage. Spray comes out at more than 70 mph. Effective distance is 30 feet."

Bear spray is 3x as strong as pepper spray and 6x the amount.

Stuff isn't cheap. $35 for one that sprays 30'.

The people filming? 1st Amendment activist Sgv new first on youtube . He has had to sprayed a dozen or so people that walk up and start physical alterations in the past few years,

I got maced by some dudes that tried to rob me one time. It hurt like a mfer. I ran into a burgerking and washedbmy eyes out in the sink for a half hour.

Pepper spray is not perfume....if you have a keychain sized unit, use the whole thing....its only good for 3-5 second before it runs out....go with the stream spray type, they have more distance,affected by a breeze, and minimizes getting some blown in your face....

The vid is fake....notice the guy barely got any on him and no tearing, nose running, coughing, or redness....

i asked a cop which was worse, tear gas or getting tased. He said tear gas by a mile. while getting tazed hurts too, it only lasted 5 seconds when they were in training. the tear gas causes every gland in his body to secrete fluid out continuously for a long time, like an hour i believe. he said you can't do anything but wait for it to end.

I would absolutely spray him again really good if he stumbled around near me again.
