You can not read Scripture in our dumbed down English.
You can not really READ Scripture unless you have at least a good Concordance and Lexicon.

King James consolidated at least 15 different entities into God/god.

Kings, Landlords, Judges, other Magistrates or for that matter anyone in authority were simply changed to God/god.

Unless a Concordance correctly identifies God as Jehovah, it is just an earty authority.
Rarely is God/Jehovah used in Scripture.
Even the first time God is used in Scripture, it means Archons and World is the Legal creation of men and not the natural Terra/Land.

The Churches teach Church Doctrine and not what the Scriptures really say because the Churches are tied to Mammon/money.

I also asked why it seemed I couldn't feel the call to salvation (why wad I being left out?) and I point blank said I was willing if Jesus would just show me the way. Then bit by bit, (I was very hard-headed) it started to happen. It took over a year of searching out churches in my area, mind you just looking at addresses of Baptist churches in my area, after 20 years of sporadically reading the Bible (which version?) I asked and decided on the best English translation, the KJV. I asked my husband if he would go with me the first time. Now I am a born again believer in an Independent Baptist Church for 10 years. You just have to accept the free gift. P.S. Now I read 10 chapters a day and have graduated from a three year Bible college survey class, Faith Bible Institute out of Louisiana.
