Caution. Banks no longer issue deposit slips. Wants all $$ in the matrix.

I went to my local bank today,a bank that I have done business with for over a quarter of a century. I had three checks to deposit but wanted cash back and didn't have any deposit slips. She said "we don't use them anymore". I asked, "then what do I do when I make a deposit with checks and want$$ back?"

"Well.. if you go through the drive through, write it down on a sticky note.

WTF .. what a fine way to keep books accurate or at best, prove accuracy.
