It seems everyone in the 21st century forgot the internet is not one thing located in one place and it never will be.

Keep beating us back. People will just start private BBS services on their own home server.

It's technology. This isn't a car. It's a computer plugged into the very essence of informational transfer.

So they're saying, essentially, they control all major sites and are aiming to censor the internet in real-time to stop "wrong-think" from occurring.

I don't know if the rich are incredibly stupid, incredibly arrogant, or both. I suspect both since everything they do is exactly how out-of-touch rich people whose feet never touched the ground thinks the world operates.

If everyone since the day you were born was kissing your ass and treating you like a god (because they're paid to), your psychology would warp into thinking you ARE a god. Which is what a lot of these ultra-rich assholes think.

But these are people who never wiped their own ass or dug a ditch or struggled to pay a bill. They lack the survival instinct almost everyone else does. And they have only heard yes and received deferrence their entire life. But they're just flesh and blood people - something normal people rarely forget about other people since we didn't go through our lives with everyone in eyesight being an employee of ours of some sort.

Of course they think people are weak, feeble, sheepish cowards who are lost without them: that's how their entire life has seemingly been like.
