MORE FUD: Flesh-eating SEA LICE are biting people in Britain's seafront lakes as swimmers are warned to stay away

This shit has been around forever. Why the scare now?

(Daily Mail) Flesh eating sea lice have infested Clevedon and Weston's seafront lakes and people are being advised to avoid swimming in those areas.

Swimmers using both Marine Lake in Clevedon and Marine Lake in Weston-super-Mare have reported being 'bitten' while taking a dip in the pools.

Some have reported feeling 'stings' and 'nips' when in the water, with some being left with red patches on their skin.

Other swimmers have said they have found the insect-like creatures in their swimwear after getting out of the water.
