2 Timothy 2:15 - "rightly dividing" - Bible Study

The Bible can be 'divided' into 3 'features'.

A. History
B. Current events
C. Future prophecy

Some verses / passages have all 3 of these. Here's one example.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

1. Daniel is from the Hebrews History.

2. Jesus is speaking to the Apostles at the 'current time' of the passage.

3. Jesus is speaking about End Times prophecy.

Yet some scholars would also (correctly) define the phrase as meaning to...

...'properly translate' individual words.

...check the passage for 'contextual variations' for validation.

...check other scriptures for confirmation / contradiction, then resolve any issues for an accurate interpretation.

2 Timothy 2:15 Make an effort to present yourself to God as a tried-and-true worker, who doesn’t need to be ashamed but is one who interprets the message of truth correctly.

Paul, as a Pharasee, believed that when the Messiah came, Israel would be restored.

Yet Father God mentions reconciling the Gentiles back to Himself many times in scripture.

The word "gentiles" occurs 129 times in 121 verses in the KJV.

Father God, in His infinite wisdom, decided to send the Messiah - His Lamb - His only begotten Son - to deliver the Gospel to the world (starting with the Hebrews) - which included Salvation for ALL, including the Gentiles, who Repented and Believed.

I've always considered this verse by Daniel to "stand in the holy place" to be an instruction to us. Not to look for something standing in the holy place. We are the temple of God, after all. Sorta like Stand Firm!

I can see the analogy.

Yet Paul states....

2Thessalonians 2

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

One must first know Jesus Christ as who He really is .. and that is God.

If you do not start from the correct premise, then your findings will be off.


Thus, as you proclaim Jesus to be something less than God, your fake 'bible studies' are tainted with death and hell.

One cannot 'rightly divide' the Word of Truth without knowing WHO the Word of Truth is ...

You have offered nothing in terms of rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

Because you do not know how to rightly divide the Word ...

"dividing the Word" has to do with Law and Grace, Old and New Covenants, Old and New Testaments, legalism and grace.

You know nothing of this, having lived your life secluded in a cult.


Until you recognize Christ for who He REALLY is, you will remain blinded and ignorant of the truth.

You can rely on that.

Is Christ divided? NOPE.

There's only ONE Gospel.

Show us the verse(s) that says Salvation
depends on Believeing that 'Jesus is God'.

You can't. They don't exist.

Instead, all these 14 verses say...
