He's like a rational, likable, funny Alez Jonez. Sometimes on his podcast, his tech-guy/sidekick, Ben Avery will feed him an insane news item and Tim will sit back in silence then comment on it and skewer it. He's able to see the likelihood in a situation and how it will play out and make it funny and make you not get depressed about it, unlike when a professional conspiracy theorist will conclude with, "WE WILL ON BE IN FEMA CAMPS BY 2030! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!"

That kind of talk is why most normies don't engage with conspiracy talk. But if you make it funny and dial down the fear porn, then people will engage.
