It's Time to Order Funeral Flowers: Democracy is Dead

In the dream there was a code phrase/idea: "Is it time to order the flowers?"

I knew this phrase meant "how close are we to winning? Is it time to prepare for the celebration yet?"

The political party was represented by an acronym that began with "D". It seemed obvious upon waking but in the dream I kept trying to figure out what it was: DMG? DNG? DN-? And never really did.

I heard one person in WA DC after another ask each other "Is it time to order the flowers yet?" To which the answer was, "Almost. Any day now. It's about time to order those flowers..."

Then one day the question was asked and the reply was, "It's time to order the flowers. But not flowers for a celebration; flowers for a funeral."

I knew this meant the political party was done - as in DEAD.


The dream changed and I saw Trump speaking on TV. He was talking about how much money it took to run the IRS and how heavy-handed and ridiculous the IRS had become. (It seemed like there had been a few recent IRS horror stories.)

He proposed the idea of disbanding the IRS in exchange for an automated system: a digital currency. The amount of taxes required now would be immensely less because Americans would no longer be supporting the monster the IRS had become.

He talked about the fairness of the currency and the accountability, how it would make top players in finance and government behave, and how it would help get America back on it's feet financially and limit government abuse and theft. He promised a better, more honest and accountable government. (This seemed to include some sort of implicit digital ID system.)

For the most part people loved the idea, and I felt it would be accepted.

I awoke and didn't remember the dream until the middle of the day. The only thing I remembered upon waking was,

"Is it time to order the flowers yet?"

"Yes. Flowers for the funeral."
