Society is falling apart because a teen girl has more say than a 30-year practicing surgeon.

Up until about 15 years ago your accomplishments in society were weighted with your vote or say. The more you accomplished the more say you had to some degree. You had more weighted opinion based upon your merits. Many years ago, you had to own land to even vote for politicians. We are now at a point in time where the people determining culture, society, and policy have no experience in even life, let alone the areas they are determining. The model has been completely flipped where multiple scenarios a group of teens have a more weighted say in public policies.

A large part of the reason is the media. Constant stories based upon how twitter reacts, how social media reacts. It's all connected. A journalist doesn't like something, story about how the internet is blowing up with negative reactions about that thing. Everything becomes self-contained.

Just an observation of how society has changed in the last 15 years.
