Question for Law Enforcement GLPers.. Do Those Stickers Showing Donation Save Us Fom A Citation?

Well, we don't have one here. There is a lady Fire Chief that presides over our little encampment of 120 people, and I'm good friends with her. She doesn't like to be seen as "The Police", it's really not her job.

We really do police ourselves out here.

And I'll add - this is not an "urban community" with urban problems. There is almost zero crime here, it's still one of the places you don't have to lock your doors. Very quiet, very safe. I lock my doors anyway, though, because you never know when people from outside our community will "visit".

The cities are a lost mess, good luck if you live there.

But if you get out of the cities and into small communities, you learn that you don't need "cops". They could never get there in time to help you anyways.

Small communities that are rural or remote police themselves. They network, you know who to call if you can't handle it yourself - and it's a private citizen.

Only in the case of something very extreme would you get the authorities involved who are 50 miles away.
