I guess that's why getting sick makes you skinny.

At some point your logic doesn't add up.

This is also a super smart thing to do/adjust to.

I personally have been using fans in windows my whole life.

And if you aren't use to it, now is a good time to adjust.

Mostly because of sleep hours, it can be really stressfull, it forces you to adjust.

Wake up at a certain hour to close windows/pull fan out.

Etc, can keep your house super cool if done right, save lives even.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73445522

Thanks. I figured I better adjust now and see if it's possible / bearable for me. If not, then I better consider moving. Speaking of stress, I got some form of heat rash or it might have been reactivated chicken pox (shingles). Never had that happen before, but I'm 50 and at the age where reactivation might happen under stress. I initially thought it was poison ivy, but my poison ivy medication did nothing and it was in several spots - my arms and shins. That's not a normal location for shingles, but who knows. Calamine lotion helped, whatever it was.

The biggest annoyance was waiting until 2 AM for the temperature to get cool enough (under 90F!) so I could sleep even with a fan blowing right on me. I had to take a short shower every night and change the bed sheets twice as often as usual. During the highs of the day, I had to have a fan on me inside or sweat was just pouring off me. It's cooler outside in the shade than in any kind of structure that absorbs solar heat and provides no airflow.

I learned and documented quite a bit, which is what I wanted. Others will have to learn on fly.

I didn't even need to build a swamp cooler, but that's what I'll do soon.

I do daily 18/6 Intermittent fasting along with semi weekly longer 36-48hr fasts and I feel fantastic. Not eating is easily the healthiest thing you can do for your body and overall health. I don't understand how people can walk around with 20, 50, 100+ pounds of fat on their skeleton. They must feel like absolute horror and have simply forgotten what it feels like to be lean mean fighting machine. Even #2-3 lbs excess fat on my gut feels painful. You know what they say, you can't outrun your fork! Also, being thin and in shape feels better than that sugary food tastes!

Fat people will always defend their 'choice', but it's not really their choice.

The bulk of them (hah!) have no self discipline whatsoever.

I don't even take fatties seriously. They're amusing to say the least, and utter slaves to what they can consume.

When the shit goes down, and it will...they're fucking fucked.
I dunno man, but I just don't get that you cannot or will not give a damn about yourself.

Watching them get in and out of their cars is as funny as hell! What I do in the blink of an eye takes them ages; how the heck do they do anything else?

When it all goes postal I won't even have to waste good ammo on them; a blow to the head and that's that.

Interesting times ahead for us lean, mean motherfuckers.

The average American goes into a terrified panic if they have to go more than a half hour without eating. I hope the day comes where Americans are forced to eat only one normal meal a day, instead of a dozen meals a day. I'm praying for this!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84089567

Americans are on Keto and intermittent fasting now. Some are prepared to starve or live on very little food via fads and lifestyle trends without even knowing it was an unintended help for later. Most have loads of toilet paper. While I have a bag of enough mismatched socks to wipe my ass and my loved ones asses for 6 weeks. Let the games begin. Pieces fall exactly as they will.
