But as a matter of national and international security, the powers that be could never warn you if they really thought it was bad.

In fact, the worse it looked, the more they would down play it.

Because nobody can predict the outcome and it's safer to under hype the event as much as possible.

Recently, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) published a report that stated five asteroids will approach the Earth this weekend as well as Monday. The JPL is a research development lab at the California Institute of Technology.

The NASA lab discovered extraterrestrial objects via the Asteroid Watch dashboard. According to the report, the asteroids fall under the category of near-Earth objects (NEO) that are not “potentially hazardous,” meaning we can admire the passing objects without fear of where they’ll land(sure).

Meanwhile, Elon Musk has taken to Twitter once again to issue a stark warning to humanity. The SpaceX mogul took to the social media site to alert his 104 million followers to his harrowing theory. Sharing a link to a BBC article about the death of the dinosaurs, Musk tweeted: “This will happen again – just a matter of time”, seemingly referring to civilization’s potential impending doom.
