I might say something like that to myself, in my own voice inside my head, maybe 50 times per minute.

I would dare to say it would be literally impossible to do good work of any nature without having that internal dialogue.

When I teach, it's obvious who is doing that and who isn't.

Otherwise you're just zoning out and pushing paint around mindlessly.

I have the exact same thing, but it's me and only me. Before I do something, I'll have a conversation in my mind or sometimes out loud to walk thru the process. It's normal and it's not a demon. There are people that don't have this inner dialog as I've talked to others about this.

The other thing to talk about along this same subject is what do you see in your inner mind?

When you close your eyes do you see something clearly like your eyes were open?

I don't. It's more of abstract visuals. Sometimes I will see an image appear, but as I try and study it, it fades away quickly.
