Notably, God popped this bible verse (Matthew 24) into my head one day when I was near atheist, believing science and intellect. It turned me back to God.

It is the message of all great religions and the truth has been handed down in writing for thousands of years and has certainly been known since time immemorial.

However, as you have surely noticed, the pull and gravitation into the "I" is enormous, so organized religion has succeeded in deceiving the great masses and reinforcing them in the belief that the gray, lump of fat in their cranial bone that invents the "I" will go to heaven.

Both the entire Western culture and the distorted presentation of the message of the Bible lead to a massive reinforcement of the "I" and, in believers, to a kind of humble super-ego that purposefully prevents what happens when you follow Jesus and leave the material world and thus the "I" behind.

This reminds me of the Vedic Upanishads. I can't disagree, because when I read that, I couldn't help but recognize that the "Self" that book referred to reminded me of God, and Jesus himself has said "The Kingdom of God is within you".

Western belief seems to think God is external, whereas eastern belief seems to think that God is internal. God is both, as He is omnipresent.

Seeking God requires introspection as well as perceiving outward reality as it it is.

You will realize later that what is called soul is the 'pointless point' between absolute, boundless, unlimited, unborn and immortal being, without beginning and end and the material, dual world created by you or through you. There is no more distinction on this level of being.

Jesus spoke regularly about how He is in you and you are in Him and all are together in God. "My Father and I are one."

If you look inside, you are everything, if you look into the world, you are something. And you are right that looking into the world is the mirror to be able to recognize yourself.

What is important to understand is that when these things are recognized, there can be no argument about theology, exegesis, false prophets or the like. It is a universal truth. The dual world of names and forms created by the mind and the words we both use to point to reality are never the actual reality. Not in any religion and not in science.

Seeing and knowing what appears as the world within you (including the "I") is the only reality. Only that which sees and knows is real. You are PURE KNOWING.

You have now recognized that there is this seer and witness and that this must be your true identity.

Now the journey really starts for you!

As Jesus said, "God's Kingdom is within".

Meaning, your central core or "real you" is your spirit, which is of God.

The stuff layered around your central core (like your thoughts, ego, imagination, etc) is of the world. It arises from the physical world.

To have "your heart aligned with God" is to stay centered in your core. It is to identify with your spirit, and be in full control over your mind/brain/body, which in effect makes you God's tool on Earth, since your spirit naturally serves God's will. And God's will is to the benefit of both you and everyone around you. Win-win.

The problem most people have, is that they instead identify with the ego, thinking their thoughts and imagination is them. Just as you observed. And when you identify as your ego you become a slave to the material world. You lack direction, and you are in effect acting in opposition to God, to the detriment of both yourself and everyone around you. Lose-lose.

This far I think we are both in perfect agreement.

Where we differ, is in our view of "demons". You seem to have accepted Christian dogma on the matter, which basically says that there is an evil entity (Satan) served by other evil entities (demons), and that these entities seek to take control over you, so they can hurt you.

This is actually not entirely wrong, but it is still lacking in proper understanding of what we are actually dealing with here.

As you may recall, Christianity struggles with explaining just why these "demons" exist. If God is good, why is there evil? Christianity has failed to give a satisfactory answer, simply because it hasn't understood exactly what a "demon" is.

I'll try to explain this.

As I said in my last post, we are spirits who interact with the world indirectly through the physical body.

That's a simplification. Spirit is actually so far removed from the physical world it cannot interface directly with it, so your spirit cannot interface with your physical brain. Instead it interacts with a replica of the physical brain that exists in an intermediate layer of creation I'll call the etherical world.

The etherical world is an unseen "dimension" that exists as a buffer layer between the world of spirit which is our true home, and the physical world.

And the etherical (or "astral") world is home to a form of energy called ether. What we call "a thought" is actually a tangible object made out of ether.

The etheric (or astral) realm is therefore crammed full of "thought forms". These thought forms aren't contained, they flow around freely all over the place.

And thought forms are not just the substance of thought, they are also the action of thought. That is to say, thought forms are not just the stuff of intelligence, they are actually intelligent in their own right. The "ether" is a substance that is thought, and capable of thought.

It is basically a substrate of reality that has "artificial intelligence", since it is not spirit. It has no self awareness, it simple processes thought/data.

An intelligent thoughtform with a complex structure can think complicated thoughts. It is in other words highly intelligent, and it is capable of independent action (restricted to the etheric world where it exists).

But it has no spirit, and receives no guidance from God.

Such a highly intelligent independently acting thought form is what you know as "a demon".

Just as Christianity teaches, such a thought form can "attach" itself to the etheric replica of your brain. It can then seep ideas into your mind, and by doign so it can also feed itself to prolong its existence.

You see, thought forms naturally dissipate. They're like a whirlpool in water, their existence is temporary and ephemereal, only fed by the continued movement of ether. They have no spirit and are not alive. But they are intelligent and "know" that their existence can be upheld by seeking out a proper source of movement of ether.

You, a spirit, is such a source of movement in the ether.

So the thought form is drawn to you. It seeks to attach itself to your etheric mind, and to interact with it as much as possible, so it can "feed" itself and not dissipate. It has the intelligence to know that it needs to do this to continue existing.

All I've said so far actually agrees 100 % with what Christianity teaches about "demons". They try to "possess" you, and they have no connection to spirit or God, so they can only lead you astray.

The difference with the perspective I'm giving you here, is that the "demon" isn't a "fallen angel" as Christianity teaches. It wasn't created by God!

Thought forms are created by us humans.

WE have created every "demon" that plagues us. Every stray thought that stirs the ether creates whirlpools in the ether. Strong negative emotions create strong negative thought forms.

The violent history of humans has created a real mess in the ether surrounding this planet. There are zones in the "astral" that are quite "hellish", filled with powerful negative thought forms that we really don't want to feed any further.

We must starve our malcreations of our attention and energy, and take control over our minds! We must get aligned with our spirit selves so we can become God's tools, so that the highest will can clean up this place. First in the ether, then physically, because that is the way things progress. As above, so below.

What I'm warning against here, is that Christianity often teaches fear. To fear demons is a grave mistake! They are a nuisance, yes, but they are not real. They are just thought forms after all. They do not have spirit. They dissipate and disappear if we just stop feeding them with attention.

To fear them, is to give them more attention, which is to feed them.

You don't get rid of the attachments that are disturbing your mind by wrestling with them, you get rid of them by drawing closer to God.
