I have never trusted Pence since the day I heard him say that his best friend in DC was Paul Ryan. I always thought Ryan was a snake.

What if he is working with the Deep State and the plan is to throw Biden under the bus and declare there was fraud in the 2020 election and therefore Trump/Pence are the rightful president/VP? As soon as they are inaugurated they take out Trump and Pence, who will do their bidding because he is one of them, gets his dream office?

Once the electoral college voted and elected Biden as president in Dec of 2020, it was all over. that's the US constitution.

Nothing in the U.S. Constitution states that the role of the President of the Senate is purely ceremonial. In fact, the Congress is attempting to pass unconstitutional legislation that will try to make that so. If it were so, then why would they be trying to codify something that is already enshrined in the Constitution, according to you?

It is implicit that all votes counted by the President of the Senate be legitimate. If there is a question of legitimacy, then the President of the Senate definitely has a role to play in setting aside votes that are questionable, and calling for an investigation. That is what fulfilling ones oath to support and defend the Constitution would require.
