Quoting: Grove Street (Redux 3.0) havent had to go into a DMV in 20 years... i got the gold Chewey star on my license too in 2019... I was the same until I needed to travel recently. Its on the radar now, be aware. You can keep your old ID, but you wont be able to travel by air soon. Its how they get you...baby steps. Maybe they;ll suddenly say you need to take a drivers test, or a vision test. Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! Set up a swiss bank account with Francs, and a box with Rubles, Dinar, Yuan, silver and gold, just in case. Have all the paperwork I need to establish citizenship in a nearby country...back to my roots. This is supposing US looks like its about to be destroyed. Because if they gave an ultimatum...lets say 72 hrs or nukes...how many people could reasonably flee? Could you? You need a real ID to fly domestically to catch an International flight, Do you have your passport? Do you have the cash on hand to make that happen? I didn't think so... So it made sense to diversify, and foster relationships. I have Norwegian, German, and Russian extended family, I can fall back on, money stashed in some of the oldest banks in the world, and a plan... Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war! |
