It went from a cotton town to a military base and now is one of the major hubs of aerospace technology. Growing up in the 70`s with me was very unique as my classmates were Korean, German, French and Vietnamese- something not normally found in the south. Didn`t realize till much later how "different" the rest of the south was. Wow! I grew up in Huntsville too. My father worked for AMC and was a “rocket scientist “. Every so often libraries get rid of their "old" books (I guess those that are least asked after). I wonder what they are replacing them with.
