Not everyone in prisons is a scumbag. Most aren't violent...they are just regular people. You should see how many people are in jail in my area just for marijuana and no car insurance...stupid shit. America locks up more citizens than any other nation in the world. There's a great documentary hosted by Susan saranden and Danny Trejo that is very eye opening..it's on Tubi right now...can't recall the name of it..Google it. It's shocking how many innocent people are locked up too. But because there's like at least a million behind bars, that sure gives the govt a good deal of choices ...I'm sure many men and women would opt to "serve" rather than sit in prison.

They've been targeting me since childhood.

They sent military hookers after me in my teens, could of had my way with them and then some.

I have no problem sending our worst to combat the rooskies. We can even make sure they don't make it home after we're done with them.

For people banged up for certain crimes, I think the idea of an option to do military service as a form of early parole is a good idea.

Undoubtedly there are people locked up for relatively trivial crimes and crimes they are never likely to repeat and not habitual criminals.

Obviously there needs to be conditions put in place, being released on license which can be revokes and the full prison term completed.

In the end, most people are released back into the community anyway.
