Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tracking a Falcon 9 Night Launch with an 11" Telescope SLS was scrubbed, but a SpaceX Falcon 9 successfully launched from Cape Canaveral on Saturday night. I was able to track it with my 11" telescope using a trajectory prediction from FlightClub.io. I dare say my tracking was smoother than the official webcast... |

Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Tracking a Falcon 9 Night Launch with an 11" Telescope Boring.... watching rockets go up is not astronomy. I'd rather watch paint dry on Europa... jes sayin. The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object.
~ Thomas Jefferson, Inaugural Address, 1801
It is not only vain, but wicked, in a legislator to frame laws in opposition to the laws of nature, and to arm them with the terrors of death. This is truly creating crimes in order to punish them.

How many launches is SpaceX firing off every month? Seems like they're becoming one of the most prolific commercial space companies in the solar system. |

We live about 30 miles from the space X facility in central Tx and many times the tests rattle our windows. Love it. Love It. Remember that half of the individuals that you encounter today will be below average. |
