I lean right of center, but I've got no problem at all with diversity and every actor on this show seems to earn their spot with talent and charisma.

I like the GOT too, but I could go off. The lead chick is very difficult to look at, she looks like Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

It’s very offputting and then add in all the gigantic dwarf noses that they love to zoom in on, the scary looking hobbit girl. There’s something awkward here.

I got a new projector yesterday and set it up outside last night to get used to its operation before a couple parties that I'm having here soon.

I turned that show on just to check out the projection, and ended up sitting outside shivering in a blanket until midnight because I didn't want to turn it off.

I found the films a yawnfest, had read the hobbit, and liked it so, wasnt intererested in the ongoing saga/expand bit tho.

i think a lot of the negative content surrounding it may be coming from amazon themselves or whoever deliberately cast it the way they did is false flagging themselves

That usually happens in season 2 though, so keep your fingers crossed that because they spent so much money just buying the rights to make the show, they might not take the chance of ruining it by introducing your favorite characters as coming out as an lgbtqrstuvwxy or z

Sure, the lead is a "Strong Female" but there's plenty of Capable white guys doing fantastic things and Galadriel doesn't exactly lead a charmed life.


Black Hobbits and Elves...why by mad about it? They are all doing a great job and you forget about race other than Middle Earth races.

Well, I'm not a Tolkien lover and I'm sensitive about his legacy.

I appreciate his contribution to bringing Swords and Sorcery type Fantasy to the world and being the springboard for so many great things, like Dungeons and Dragons, but I'm sorry...his writing was impenetrable and seeing his story unfold in the Trilogy...it's so dry and heartless and a little bit homoerotic.

By the way, being an idiot who can only give a show 20 minutes sort of nullifies your critique.
