[link to www.swpc.noaa.gov (secure)] nothing weird there in it to reply too. protons are from the sun and they flux daily.. if truly elevated.. they would be from a CME. just a gust of protons off the sun.. OR a proton shooter ship of star fleet giving protons to the earth.
