also paid for Barack and Michelle to, on at least one occasion, take separate flights to the same location a few hours apart.

It certainly was when it was first posted. The White House simply announced the previously unscheduled trip as OP posted with no explanation.

Every other week is a vacation for Dr. and the Missus....

Trump went home on weekends. So did Clinton fly home. So did Obama fly home. So did Bush fly home!

Nothing wrong with that! Every government worker has weekends off. Why would you deny President Trump when Congress and aides go home on a weekend? The guy didn't take a paycheck for 4 years.

They flew to Hawaii several times and took European vacations, trips to India, to Japan, and an African Safari....all this with their kids, the mother-in-law, and Michelle's brother and family. Michelle flew to ski resorts with her kids every winter...to Hawaii for a month at a time every single year. Obama would fly to California to golf during the week....not on weekends.

Trump never did that, but some of these people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome deny a man a trip home on a weekend to relax and play golf. How pitiful.
