24th of September BS explained!!!!

The ominous quotation of the German politician Friedrich Merz,
in which he makes mysterious remarks to the 24th of September 2002 has been taken out of context.

The quotation is from a speech he gave on 27th of February in the German Parliament (Bundestag) about the Russian Invasion of Ukraine,
which has taken place 3 days before on 24th of February 2022.
Here is the translation of the opening of this speech:

“Mrs. President of the Parliament, Ladies and Gentleman, dear colleagues!

The 24th of September 2022 will always be remembered by us as one of those days,
where we will be able to say ‘I know exactly where I was at the moment,
when I heard the breaking news about the outbreak of the Ukraine war for the first time
and saw the first pictures of it.”

So he is clearly referring to the 24th of February 2022 which was the day Russia invaded Ukraine.
He just made a simple mistake by saying ‘24th of September’ instead 24th of February.

It’s not even some sort of Freudian slip.
We (in the western hemisphere) are hardwired to regard the 9th of September (9/11) as THE DAY that has until now held this special historical status Mr. Merz is referring to.
That’s why he makes this mistake and says September instead of February.
