How Many of Us Are Part of 'The Edge Effect'? No, not a fricking poll.
Here is a definition.
QUOTE
The edge effect is an ecological concept that describes how there is a greater diversity of life in the region where the edges two adjacent ecosystems overlap, such as land/water, or forest/grassland. At the edge of two overlapping ecosystems, you can find species from both of these ecosystems, as well as unique species that aren’t found in either ecosystem but are specially adapted to the conditions of the transition zone between the two edges.

Thread: Is anyone so far out of society now they can no longer function

I realized that many who feel 'they can not reintegrate' after the last few years, are correct in their assumptions. Hopefully most of the 'edgers' have enough resources as they seek a different milieu in other 'edgers'. OLd 'edgers' meeting recently displaced 'new edgers'. There are no boundaries. In the edge, boundaries are a blur. If you are 'fence sitting' leap into the unknown, boundaryless, fractal Edge. Don't dilly-dally. Fretting for what was, will not make what was come back.

In contrast, an ecological way of seeing the world, one which permaculture explicitly embraces, focuses on relationships that exist between these nodes, rather than viewing them in isolation. To paraphrase Gregory Bateson, a favourite social scientist of mine and author of Steps to an Ecology of Mind: “The individual mind is manifest but not only in the body. It manifests in pathways and messages outside of the body; and there is a larger Mind of which the individual mind is only a subsystem. This larger Mind manifests in the total interconnected social system and planetary ecology.”

However, while it seems like a fairly straightforward (and sensible) cognitive leap from one perspective to the other, there is a much deeper and more irrational aspect of our psyches for which it is a journey of a thousand miles. In a recent article in Permaculture Magazine called Nurturing the growers, Psychotherapist Morwenna Lewis quoted the late Patrick Whitefield who said, “a project will never fail because the land is poor, it will fail because the people will fail to get along.”

scrap the 'greenie roots' of Permaculture. It is a tool. Wielded by MAGA or BLM alike. IT is a useful tool.

I remember very far back while living as a child in my family home, the concept of "sitting on the fence" was explained. It seemed like a higher perch. I liked the concept as it also reflects physiological aspects such as gray.

Bump for permaculture.
1. “You can’t fire a cannon, from a canoe!”
2. “Strength is gained in the range it is trained.”
3. “If it doesn’t swim, run, or fly, or isn’t green and grow in the ground, don’t eat it.”
4. “Know that you have complete control over what you put in your mouth. No one ever ate anything by accident.”

Typical red pill. Any woman can get male company and sex if they desire it. Any. Woman.

Legalize, regulate and make safe sex work so men can too - ugly men, like me. L
