People with cash laying around. Buy buy buy

Or prepare to buy
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84050979

Have a lot of cash on the side, but not ready to buy just yet. IMO, this is going to worsen considerably.

What I do hold, have a SL at market order set in profit to bail if/when the massive plunge hits.
 Quoting: Lady Jane Smith

It's going to be months before it's really buy buy buy time. The market has so much further to go down... I'm giving it a 50/50 shot of never coming back up once people realize the magnetic reversal is imminent.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55994706

That's what everyone is saying. Even the mainstream news. Usually a market consensus that the bottom is not in, means the bottom is in. You'll be late if you try to time the bottom, based on what others are saying.

Uhmm... if we get worse than we are right now, the bubble is going to burst and we are going into a full depression. The fed will not let this happen, yet. Give it a year or two before the real damage is done. The market is about to fly the fastest we've seen in a century.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79058309

The Fed has no tools left at their disposal to stop this. That's what you don't get.

They already pulled the last major card they had by printing fucktons of fiat money using the Covid pandemic as the excuse. This is a systemic, global, and pervasive failure that is now unstoppable. It's over.

Sure they do. As soon as they slow down the rise of interest rates or reduce interest rates, the market is going to be risk on again. The amount of money sitting on the sidelines, waiting for a "bottom" is substantial. The fear in the market has many many people sitting on the sideline with money.

They also have "quantitative easing".

Like I said, they will delay the real collapse for at least another year or two.

This is a setup, Goldman Sachs also touts a significant drop in the markets soon,

They are the shorting the markets like hell because on September 23rd a new 911 type event will happen.

Then nobody would blame those that strongly shorted the markets before that event, no insider trading claims would hold to long, well it would take time to get here because in the first place there's world wide chaos that wipes out the markets clean.

There's no money sitting on the sidelines. If there were, businesses and families wouldn't need COVID loans and checks. Recent graduates wouldn't need the federal government to forgive their student loan debts.

Who cares what FEDEX says? Everyone cringes when they find out they have to wait for a package from them. UPS is on top of things even getting packages to you early when it's possible. FedEx? Nope, not even a second earlier and you are lucky if it doesn't arrive in your local area and then get shipped off for another trip before coming back.

Where do you think all that printed money is? That fresh new money supply is still working its way through the system to be consolidated.

We had those FREE money years which people should not base anything on. How much worse off are we now then in 2019 before this started would be great to know.

Re: FedEx CEO says he expects the economy to enter a ‘worldwide recession’
FEDEX seems to be under a controlled demolition on the Ground side of the business.

Over the last 2 years I have seen nothing but turnover and mismanagement in the dispatch portion of the business.

It is a transportation and logistics company and it is very inefficient in the routing.

Moral seems to be low throughout the company.

There is more to the story than a slowing/ failing economy. I think there is corporate sabotage.

FEDEX will still be here after the storm coming, but they are contributing to the overall collapse.

“We’re seeing that volume decline in every segment around the world, and so you know, we’ve just started our second quarter,” he said. “The weekly numbers are not looking so good, so we just assume at this point that the economic conditions are not really good.”

“We are a reflection of everybody else’s business, especially the high-value economy in the world,” he later added.

Raj is right,,,, Fedex, UPS, DHL, even the USPS are all a barometer of the world economy.

Especially domestically, America has no industry except the "consumption industry", the velocity of money is what keeps it humming and now those dollars are slowing and will not buy the same amount of goods and services as before Obiden.

I expect death from a 1000 cuts. It's not coming. It's HERE. The stock market isn't going to crash and burn. It's going to slowly descend. Your savings and 401ks and retirement plans are standing in slow moving quicksand.

Stop talking like it's 2 weeks away. It's going to take time to grind this machine to a halt. It's here. It's now. This is what folks have been prepping for. It's not going to happen as fast as some think. It's slow. But it's going to be cut by cut by cut.
