Who has your back when SHTF?

For all the chest pounding "I have my bug out space and I ain't sharing my shit with anyone" bravado posts, my question is, "How long will you survive on your own?"

Farming, hunting, preparing meals, cutting wood, maintaining infrastructure and equipment, cleaning, washing, and securing one's homestead is an all encompassing task that is almost impossible to do alone for an extended period of time. If you or one of your members of your group are injured, sick or die prematurely, who will step in? Who will educate and care for your children while you are working on the farm?

What have you done to create a community of people who are aware of the global economic situation and have valuable skills for the SHTF scenarios?

It's time to step up and stop the "fuck the libtards" rhetoric. That rhetoric is going to be part of your demise. You might hate your neighbor for voting for Biden, but that neighbor may have valuable resources, skills and knowledge that benefits everyone in your community/group.

Instead of complaining, go to your neighbor and say something like, "Hey, I know that we have major disagreements about politics, but shit is getting real and 'they' do not have out best interests at heart. I am worried about the rising costs of heating, food, and electricity. We have elderly neighbors on fixed incomes who might not make it. We need to come together and make a plan help each other if things get as bad as predicted by both sides of the political spectrum. Let's have a meeting to discuss our concerns and see what we can do to support each other if the worst case scenario comes about."

Your neighbors have many skills or at least can provide some manual labor. Be a leader and control the situation so it benefits everyone rather than worrying about how much ammo you will need to secure your finite food supply. Offer the olive branch now instead of waiting until it's too late.

During crisis people come together. Don't wait for the crisis to make that happen.
