I won't go into the details of my first NDE, my life has changed dramatically since.
My second NDE-i went on a 4 year bender when i left the Army.
I overdosed on the growth homrone precursor, 2,3(h) furanonedihydro and GHB. ...yes I know, it was a totally dumbshit thing to do. It gave you a wicked buzz, an invincible, euphoric feeling like no other drug i ever did. I had numerous drugs from cocaine and meth to weed and alcohol (.15 bac) in my system. It was a rough time after the Army, wife cheated while I was deployed, we had just finalized our divorce.
I was driving when it happened and fortunately I didn't hurt anyone.
Everything was black then I was looking at the sky with an EMT over me saying stay with me, stay with me, ... I left. I became upright but I hadn't stood up, I was extremely calm and everything was a bright bluish white, my Tahoe, myself laying on the gurney and a couple other people there were the only other things in the bluish white light. I was out of my body. I saw the EMTs jump starting my body a couple times when, what I believed to be mydeceased Dad said "it is not your time yet Son, you have a not finished your plan you have a fight coming and you need to get yourself together, people need you." We talked a bit more, but that is what stands out. I assumed the fight was getting clean. No one was counting on me, I was single, no kids, only child, my Mom was alive but we hadn't talked in a long time. I had a great job, but I wasn't curing cancer. Anyway this all seemed like 5 to 10 minutes. I woke up intubated, with a catheter and a diaper and a kinda WTF was that. My Mom was there and I learned I had been in a coma for 9 days.
I didn't yet know the people who would be counting on me and the fight is just beginning.
My Mom and I are very close and have been since.
This is very personal to me. There is definitely something on the other side and I no longer fear death but I don't seek it out either.
God bless us all
