For months I felt like an anchor had been placed around my neck. I felt trapped in my body. From that day on I have never once feared death. Before that I was terrified. I have viewed my body as a mere container for my soul ever since.

So I kept my story to myself and wrote it off as a disturbing wakeful dream. I can tell you this. There is something after body death. Told me my work and experiences aren’t complete. And that I’ll be back. And that was it.
 Quoting: Truth Be Known

100% to all these quotes that is a very apt description of my experience as a whole.

How fascinating! Did any of you come back with new abilities?
 Quoting: Alpacalips

No idea, but ive always had a good intuition/gut feeling about things, only seems to have gotten stronger. Sometimes it feels like i know stuff is going to happen and then it does, it freaks me out.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18622577

Yup. This. When I want to quit or give up, that experience pops up instantaneously and I remember, this is why I’m still here. Finish the job.

People ask me,” if it’s so great, why not just suicide and go home?”

What was made abundantly clear by those that apparently knew me, was I could stay there, baked in love and surrounded by those that obviously I’ve made happy but if I do, I’m turning my back on something more precious than myself.

Hate to say something so corny but this life is a gift. Which is why they call it the present. And when you live long enough, you realize all that’s important or ever will be, is in the present. Past and future are irrelevant.

Scary thoughts:

1. If we create our own reality. It’s possible we create our own death. So better to believe in something.

2. Those who experience NDEs have mostly been assured there’s something after their body death. But does that extend to all the living bodies?

3. NDEs have been written down on stone to paper from at least 3000 BC. All of them showing the exact same experience. With only perceptions marking any differences.
- atheist have them
- ancient civilizations had them
- Hindus and Buddhists have them
- Muslims have them
- Christians have them
- Natives of every continent have them

Symptoms
- Seeing own body from outside perspective
- Experiencing the tunnel of light
- Sensation that all is well
- Sensation of being Home and being loved more than ever before
- Revelation of where you are, usually told to you by a welcoming entity
- Some say the entity is God, Satan, Angels, past relatives, etc
- Being told its not your time

reaction to anesthesia and became brain dead for a very short period of time, saw a swirling tunnel that I was being forced upwards through and hearing the loving voice of god while being forced through, I then fell into the room outside my body and saw the room spinning but my body below, then suddenly I was inside my body but my soul was too small to fill it until I expanded outwards to fit my body and I was semi-revived.

You did not become brain dead "for a very short period", if anything you experienced somatic death where your brain becomes deprived of oxygen and you start hallucinating.

Re: anyone here had a REAL NDE? no bs

I've been living a Christian life for 10 years.

In Jan. 2022 I had a UTI that I thought was not that bad.
It went sepsis on me and I had to go to the ER.

When I got there, I told them 'my whole body is heating up'
and asked them to take me right away. IT FELT SO HOT!!!

They said 'take a seat'. So I did, but never made it.
I had a seizer and a heart attack along with the sepsis.

They said in a report 'patient had to be revived' which
means I died.

I saw nothing. Everything went dark. It was "lights out"
and then I woke up with them peeling these things off
my chest that they use when they have to shock you.
Wrapped me up and said 'you're going for a ride'.
Got there, and came to in the ICU with my ex-wife
looking down at me.

NEVER.SAW.A.THING. The Bible says we sleep, I believe this
is the truth. I'm not sure what all these people see that
say they have these experiences. When I asked someone,
they believe that God gives each person what they
need to go on living, some see things, others don't need to.

It just depends on what your path is and what God wants
you to do...

Are you sure.

Jesus promised the thief on the cross who had trusted Him, “today you will be with me in Paradise” (Luke 23:43). The apostle Paul expressed great confidence in the face of death because, for him, dying meant being “away from the body and at home with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:6). For him, death meant, “to depart and be with Christ,” which he called, “far better.” When Jesus told a parable about the afterlife, he described one man being carried to a place of comfort (Luke 16:22) and the other anguishing in flames (Luke 16:24) and begging to warn his brothers not to come to “this place of torment” (Luke 16:28). There’s clearly no sleeping going on in any of these passages!

Re: anyone here had a REAL NDE? no bs
I won't go into the details of my first NDE, my life has changed dramatically since.

My second NDE-i went on a 4 year bender when i left the Army.

I overdosed on the growth homrone precursor, 2,3(h) furanonedihydro and GHB. ...yes I know, it was a totally dumbshit thing to do. It gave you a wicked buzz, an invincible, euphoric feeling like no other drug i ever did. I had numerous drugs from cocaine and meth to weed and alcohol (.15 bac) in my system. It was a rough time after the Army, wife cheated while I was deployed, we had just finalized our divorce.

I was driving when it happened and fortunately I didn't hurt anyone.

Everything was black then I was looking at the sky with an EMT over me saying stay with me, stay with me, ... I left. I became upright but I hadn't stood up, I was extremely calm and everything was a bright bluish white, my Tahoe, myself laying on the gurney and a couple other people there were the only other things in the bluish white light. I was out of my body. I saw the EMTs jump starting my body a couple times when, what I believed to be mydeceased Dad said "it is not your time yet Son, you have a not finished your plan you have a fight coming and you need to get yourself together, people need you." We talked a bit more, but that is what stands out. I assumed the fight was getting clean. No one was counting on me, I was single, no kids, only child, my Mom was alive but we hadn't talked in a long time. I had a great job, but I wasn't curing cancer. Anyway this all seemed like 5 to 10 minutes. I woke up intubated, with a catheter and a diaper and a kinda WTF was that. My Mom was there and I learned I had been in a coma for 9 days.

I didn't yet know the people who would be counting on me and the fight is just beginning.

My Mom and I are very close and have been since.

This is very personal to me. There is definitely something on the other side and I no longer fear death but I don't seek it out either.

God bless us all

I was 6. Doctors were baffled (even back then) I was in quarantine and gone for a week. Doctors told my parents I wouldn't make it. My temperature was too high for too long so they were waiting for me to die.
In my reality a nurse walked me into a room in a hospital. She settled me in the bottom bed and she left. There was a boy on the top bunk. We talked for awhile. It was very peaceful, he was very friendly. After awhile I asked him where I was and he said at a hospital. I asked how long will I be here he said until they decide where you are going. I looked over and there were two doors in the room. The door the nurse brought me in through and another but didn't know what it was.

After some time, the nurse came back and said "honey, come with me its time to go". I took her hand and we walked through the door on the right. After walking through the door I was immediately back in my body. It was cold, dark, wet and heavy. I was laying in a hospital bed in a room I had never seen. This nurse walks though the door and I looked at her and she screamed "doctor she's alive". This scared the crap out of me. I figured I was in a bad dream but I wasn't. I was back here. I spend the next several days trying at night to get out of my bed so I could go back to the room with that boy in it, but I was unable to walk for several days and they kept me locked up pretty good.

Fast forward several decades. The same boy came to me in a dream and told me about an accident that was going to happen and it did. Not sure who the boy was. I could say just in my head until he accurately predicted an exact day in the future that a boating accident would occur. I couldn't have known that. I saw him one more time but wasn't asleep. He came do me when my father died. Still not sure who he is. I asked him his name and he said it was David. I said, oh, I was hoping for something more mystical....lol

Was given a shot of Lovenox back in 2001 and it caused something to burst in my small intestines. Luckily I was already in the hospital, started pooping blood by the pints and they done an emergency colonoscopy while I was awake.
About 1 minute into it I passed out.
When I woke up in ICU they had already put several pints back into me and said I was still 2 pints low but my body would make up for it. Was in there for a week, that sucked.
A year later another one bursted and they never found it either, I have veins growing inside of my intestines, forget the name they called it, but they burst every now and then.

OBE from fever dream during close to 105 covid fever, thought i was dead, met an entity which can only be described as something from the old testament, an apt description would be an orphanim, it could see everything, my life, my soul, my essence, but it didnt render the judgement, i judged myself and i was ashamed.

I was absolutely in awe and terrified of it/them, it seemed like each eye/crystal/wing was a consciousness of itself, it explained it meant no harm, that it wasnt my time, but that it was important i be informed and humbled and guided because bad things are coming aliens/demons and i need to prepare myself and i have a job to do, i wasnt sure if id met god, or the devil or aliens, i begged and prayed to jesus and god... and said id endure 1000 years of this feeling if it meant the people i loved who i think are good innocent people were spared from harm, and that i promised if the end times are coming i will do my best to protect the innocent, this seemed to satisfy it... i think it conveyed the message that what matters is our heart.

its impossible to explain in any way which seems rational or scientific, maybe my brain flooded itself with DMT i dont know.. anyway it told me some stuff but i forgot a ton of it, the gist of it was that god is going to allow evil to spread unchecked as a test of our character because it is peoples free will and choices and their own judgement that is important for us to grow and learn spiritually. I think we chose to be here, and even to suffer as silly as it sounds because its a test. These things see truth and see right through us, even if we are lying to ourselves, they see all.

Ive done psychedelics before and this was something else, it felt real, it felt like i went somewhere else, another dimension perhaps, im basically an agnostic atheist and kind of still am, i think the biblical and spiritual texts and legends are some kind of allegory for something more that is almost impossible to explain with written language.. Absolutely convinced our soul/essence is immortal and we chose to be here now, it took me over 6 months to be able to even talk about this because i was still getting upset and tearful thinking about it.

I've asked for it to come back and got absolutely blasted on marajuana and stuff and nothing. Im lost.

I suffered a post partum haemorrhage 14 years ago giving birth to my stillborn daughter at home. I lost 6 pints of blood and lost consciousness. I was panicking inside and thinking OMG I've stopped breathing. I heard the most beautiful woman's voice. She said "ssh it's okay you don't need to anymore". I felt the most amazing sense of joy and peace I have ever felt. I was looking down at my husband on his knees by the side of the bath and my Mum was holding my sleeping daughter in her hands. I felt no longing towards any of them. Instead I felt like a ball of pure energy. I felt real freedom. I remember waking up after a three hour surgery. For months I felt like an anchor had been placed around my neck. I felt trapped in my body. From that day on I have never once feared death. Before that I was terrified. I have viewed my body as a mere container for my soul ever since.

You've completely misinterpreted that sentence. There is a disconnect that is hard to explain. You feel like you've come home and the relationships in life don't have the same meaning as when you are here. It's a very difficult feeling to describe you are you but not as you are in your body. I felt like a ball of energy and the joy was indescribable. Guess you have to go through it to understand it.

Some similarities for sure, id describe my experience more like a crystal/wing portal wheel with eyes, with each of the thousands of eye/crystals being an entity, i know what that person is talking about relating to something not being right though.

It felt like i had died and it wasnt my time, so it/they put me back, like a multidimensional janitor or something repairing fate that is being manipulated by something else external messing with forces it should be, its kind of a worry-some thought, it did/does feel though like covid was meant to kill me, but it was fake, artificial and these entities or entity or whatever it was wasnt happy about it, but it wasnt angry with me.

Had covid again since and it was much much milder and i recovered much quicker, temp didnt get above 102/103 this time. Always had this gut feeling something is not right with the vaccines, so never got vaccinated.

Psychedelics have always hit me particularly hard, ive never done DMT for this reason, marajuana is mildly psychadelic for me, everybody i have told thinks im full of shit, it makes me well aware that there are other dimensions adjacent to ours, its like it makes me aware the door is there and some of it leaks through, but its shut, i cant open it, psychadelics like lsd not only make me aware of the door, but the door is ajar, and much more leaks through, but i cant get to it, to look inside, if you catch my drift, im deeply fearful that should i do DMT id open the door and look through it and i dont think im meant to.

Its cheating, i think you are meant to wait till its time to go through, no peeking.

A few.

Without sounding pessimistic, I really don't even want to go through typing it all out as people generally skim right past my longer posts and then I feel like I've wasted my time and a bit down by it.

Anything similar to whats detailed in this thread? i know its hard brother but what about footnotes or a synopsis, we know its hard to even explain it or do it justice in words.

Did you meet an entity? did it give you a message? can you remember what it told you?

I've always been curious, then was actually in a bad car accident where I had to be resuscitated, but don't remember anything.

Re: anyone here had a REAL NDE? no bs

Wow.

Have you read "Proof of Heaven"? The neurosurgeon who had a week long NDE had a woman show up in his experience who later turned out to be his long lost sister (passed) separated by adoption.

Re: anyone here had a REAL NDE? no bs
First time around age 5 or 6 stepped into a quicksand type hole on the lake bottom and went under. Didn't know how to swim. Couldn't get any air or up to the surface. First life review was really quick. It was similar to pulling a film strip out of a camera where all the events of my life flashed across my inner eye. Then there was a picture of big book filled with empty pages fanned out (a life yet to be lived?). There was a choice - to cross over or not. During this brief underwater period, deep inner peace unfolded where I felt completely calm. Deciding not to cross over, information in the form of mental images instantly downloaded as to how to save myself. By curling into a ball the body dropped to the lake bottom. My feet touched where I could push myself up to the surface to get air.. and repeat the process pushing/propeling my body toward the shore and shallow water. Ever since the ability to problem solve was accelerated where mental images instantly form on what to do and how to do it. Whether in situations, building things, interacting with others, some mechanical things, etc.. anything needing solving that is focused on, images still appear on how to manifest the desired outcome.
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.
