You sound ok to me. Maybe find a good therapist. Preferably one trained in Jungian psychology and that has personal experience with spiritual or psychedelic experiences.

They can help guide you through this.

Many people with autism are misdiagnosed with schizophrenia. Always get a second and third opinion. Getting labelled schizo for an active imagination is bullshit!

As long as you can acknowledge the audio or visual hallucinations are not real, you don't need psychotropic cocktails. As long as you are not a threat to yourself or others, you don't need psychotropic cocktails.

Yes, being aware. Writing what your thoughts or symptoms are. Learn about the disease and how it manifests itself in you. You can't discern what is real from the unreal if you don't first learn how it manifests for you.

Allot of this is isolating. It's one of the most debilitating mental illnesses out there. people end up homeless, unemployed, and abused by others if not having enough family support or reaching treatment.

I know some medicines stop hallucinations and there are side effects that are not so good. There is probably help for the paranoia and anxiety.

But the delusions. That's the challenge. what can stop the delusions. I think it's sharing them with others and using a model of proving it beyond a reasonable doubt that the delusion is real. If it can't be proved, dismiss it, or ask many people if you are accurate.

I'm glad you got to the first step which is admitting that you have a problem and you will need support to live with it, since it doesn't really go away, you can get breaks, but one can learn to live with it and learn what their personal symptoms are.
