Who diagnosed you? The specialist should be giving you advice & groups until they stabilize the medication/find the one and dose that works for you.

However If It Is just someone throwing this at you, It Is more than likely their own projection rather than your reality.

I’d get a second and third opinion and research vitamin deficiencies involved in schizophrenia and start supplementing just in case.

Follow doctor orders. They are good with schizo and bipolar. It is just very easy to envision being ok without the meds, never let this happen for the sake of your loved ones. Best wishes.

My mother was schizophrenic. She had two children before it became obvious.She had a hard life. More is understood now.

Seriously, take the medication. Find a psychiatrist (a real doctor, not a psychologist or a social worker) to work with you in case there are side effects.

It seems to be chemical imbalance and it can happen to anyone.
