Result: FIRED. True. The 18th of next month I will have been gone from nursing for a year. I am an RN with 15 years' experience, but I had to leave last October over the vaccine mandate within the medical establishment. Personally, I see the medical establishment as a fat cat money making scheme, but this self-sacrifice that many nurses have to make by leaving the field really hurts those nurses that deeply care for their patients. This simple fact is, usually, only understood by another nurse. Most people will never know what nurses sacrifice and put up with to give their patients good care. And they won’t care, even after the nurses are gone. |
