Our president clearly explained to us on February 24, 2022 - why the special operation began: 1. the genocide of the Russian population in Ukraine since 2014, the refusal of the UN to take action to stop it. 2. NATO encircling Russia, refusing to give written security guarantees. In the UN charter, Russia is the main threat. 3. NATO has been pumping weapons into Ukraine for 8 years, Zelensky was preparing to take over Crimea (he talked about this in all interviews in 2021, he created the Krma Platform with all Western countries involved). We were left with no choice. What are you accusing us of? That we saw the obvious things and did not allow us to strike first? Why do you take us for fools? I am not asking you to support us. But why can't you even understand us? If junkies came up to your house with guns, started surrounding it, threatened to take over your house - would you let them in? If you're not stupid or a coward - would you kill them before they got in? Of course, 90% of the Russian population fully supports Putin and the special operation. We are grateful that he did not wait for the first strike like Stalin did. It is a lie that Russians support Putin for fear of prison. That's what you like to think. After the special operation began, even Putin's former opponents sided with him. Today, the people of Russia are united as never before since the collapse of the USSR. Anonymous Coward User ID: 29285152 ![]() 03/17/2023 02:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You misunderstand. Americans are normal people. They don't bet against themselves. They are tired of their government, which is really fucked up. But ordinary people cannot overthrow a criminal government in their own country. That is only possible with the help of the military. Your military and the militaries of other countries are cooperating with Russia. Americans don't support Putin, they are willing to support anyone who will help them regain legitimate power in the US. Or did you vote for Biden? You support your government out of fear that Putin will destroy the US with a nuclear strike. Putin will not nuke the U.S. first. ever. We won't understand him if he does and we won't support him. We have plenty of powerful high-precision weapons that are excellent substitutes for nuclear. But your government can nuclear strike first, because they have nothing to lose, they are losing step by step. And they have no alternative weapons like Russia. You should be afraid of your government, not Putin. Putin has repeatedly said in interviews that your government oppresses not only other countries but also its own people, and he says that many people in western countries support him. He may be lying, but this proves that he will do everything he can to avoid harming civilians. Have a little patience. Everything will be all right. |

I'm glad that you guys have overwhelming support, but you must understand that no one is going to publicly disagree with the SMO with such a harsh sentence pending if they do. That's not true - we don't have prison for disagreeing with a special operation. It is a criminal offense to discredit and fake the Russian army. This article was introduced into the criminal code because after the start of the special operation, the Internet was flooded with reports that Russian soldiers were killing children, raping women, and bombing civilians. This should be punishable by a firing squad, not a prison sentence. Putin explained that this criminal article was introduced in order to protect the honor and dignity of our soldiers. Russian soldiers have never done anything like this. You can write whatever you want on your internet, but on the Russian internet these lies are forbidden. Because ordinary people are just people, they often can't tell the truth from fakes. If any Russians don't like it: suitcase, train station, fuck off. Thousands of Russians have left, and we hope they never come back. This war showed who's who. They are either stupid or traitors. Keep them. |
