He added that such a move would mark Russia's violation of the UN charter.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that Russia and Ukraine would not be able to reach a path of cooperation and ceasefire in the next 100 years.

Our president clearly explained to us on February 24, 2022 - why the special operation began:
1. the genocide of the Russian population in Ukraine since 2014, the refusal of the UN to take action to stop it.
2. NATO encircling Russia, refusing to give written security guarantees. In the UN charter, Russia is the main threat.
3. NATO has been pumping weapons into Ukraine for 8 years, Zelensky was preparing to take over Crimea (he talked about this in all interviews in 2021, he created the Krma Platform with all Western countries involved).

I completely understand and agree with Putin's logic. My questions are merely borne of interest from a Russian's point of view.

However, it's a fact that Russians are currently threatened with prison for the thought crime of not agreeing with the state's military operation. I'm glad that you guys have overwhelming support, but you must understand that no one is going to publicly disagree with the SMO with such a harsh sentence pending if they do.

Americans are normal people. They don't bet against themselves. They are tired of their government, which is really fucked up.
But ordinary people cannot overthrow a criminal government in their own country. That is only possible with the help of the military.
Your military and the militaries of other countries are cooperating with Russia.
Americans don't support Putin, they are willing to support anyone who will help them regain legitimate power in the US.

It is a criminal offense to discredit and fake the Russian army.
