Note some of the dead are Polish. Reports are this is Avdiivka and the later part (where the trench is collapsed) was due to an airstrike. Maybe the new glidebombs?

Russian forces continue storming Artemivsk

According to military correspondents, Russian forces have fully occupied the AZOM plant in Artemivsk (Bakhmut), but it is still premature to speak of a complete clearance of the industrial zone from the AFU. A sea mine washed ashore in Odessa and blew up three houses.

A Russian Air Force fighter shot down a Ukrainian military helicopter near Dimitrov.

The combat helicopter was used to strike with unguided aviation missiles. However, in the course of the flight, it flew above the permissible altitude and was detected by radar. Some time later, a Russian Air Force fighter on duty headed to the area and successfully hit the aircraft, firing a cruise missile at it.

It is not yet known exactly how many people were on board the Ukrainian helicopter, but the aircraft was trying to disrupt an assault by Russian troops in the settlement of Avdeevka, where battles are currently being actively fought.

Is NATO preparing to invade Russia?

He recalled that Poland began to deploy its troops and Germany is deploying them at the expense of increasing the Bundeswehr. At the same time, "the first mechanized division of the U.S. Army has really moved to Europe. 101 Air Assault Division - to Romania, and 82 Airborne Division - to Poland," said Matviychuk.

The former intelligence officer explained why NATO troops have not yet crossed the border with Russia - there are no signs of an active phase of preparation for an invasion of Russia by the alliance yet.

"In addition, it is very problematic by the fact that first it will be necessary to overcome a buffer group such as Belarus. And if they invade the territory of Belarus, Russia as its ally and as a Union State will use all its military power to repel it without limitation. So what does NATO think about it," Matviychuk added.

The Russian military seized a Ukrainian drone equipped with a Starlink terminal.
The drone was to be used to bypass Russian electronic warfare systems.

Against the background of the Russian military's active use of electronic warfare, Ukraine decided to control the drone not by radio signal, but by means of the Starlink satellite Internet terminal. The drone has a fairly compact design, but despite all the efforts of the AFU, the drone was still successfully defeated by a counter-rotary gun and is now a trophy of the Russian military.

On the pictures you can see the captured drone itself. Judging by its very impressive size, the drone could have been used to strike with dropped ammunition. Now the drone may be scrutinized by the Russian military to develop more effective means of countering UAVs of similar designs. Moreover it is quite possible that this trophy can be used against Ukrainian military.
