The Russian air defense system intercepted over the Rostov region a missile or a drone launched by the Ukrainian military on the territory of the region. This was reported by the governor of the region, Vasily Golubev, in his TG channel.


On Thursday, May 25, Kiev attempted to strike targets in the Rostov region, but the Russian air defense system went off and the flying object was shot down in mid-air. The interception took place near Morozovsk, and presumably the target of the strike could have been a military airfield. Judging by the flash in the sky, it could have been either a large drone or a missile. Locals believe that the military shot down a missile, while the military itself has not commented on the situation.

However, Kiev did not stop with the strike on Morozovsk, and at night there were strikes on Berdyansk, and explosions were heard in the city. According to some Russian resources, Russian air defenses were actively working over the city during the night, but they were unable to intercept all of the targets. According to available information, one explosion was heard in the port area and another in the Azmol area.
