Yuzhnoukrainsk looks to be about 75 miles (north of Kherson and Odessa) from Russia controlled territory. Absolutely no reason the Russians would firing anything in that direction.

I believe it. I also think the Russians would never allow themselves to be insufficiently armed after what Germany did to them in WWII.

Though I have not watched this, yet, I understand that James Corbett says the same about WWI. While I do not doubt British machinations and motivations, I'm not clear how it could be said they started it since it was Austria-Hungary who chose to declare war when the Arch Duke and his wife were assassinated. Once that happened, I could definitely see the British manipulating things for their own goals.

I don't think the Germans will do anything but keep committing suicide. If you read the document then you read the bit about the Greens and it is spot on. When Merkel invited in all of the "refugees", in 2015, I read that it was NATO pushing her to do it. I believe it.

The German chancellor’s recent suggestion that “someone” may want to review the current border with Poland has raised concern in Warsaw, with National Security chief Pawel Soloch demanding a “deep explanation” from Olaf Scholz.

Scholz said Warsaw’s demands for WWII reparations could lead “someone” to reconsider past border agreements between the two nations.

And I would not like some people to rummage through history books to introduce revisionist border changes,” Scholz said.

Anyone know what he was referring to about borders? I read it as though Scholz is implying that Poland may want more territory as part of their reparations package, though I've not read that Poland has suggested that. Or, was he talking about Ukraine who got some Polish territory?

So, this is a rather dark road they're going down. If an armed Russian resident is a security threat and a Russian tourist is a security threat that means all Russians are a security threat, inherently. If all Russians are a security threat, surely all Russians should be expelled, right? If they don't tell them to leave, the "security threat" remains, right? How to contain that threat? Concentration camps?

I had some interactions with a guy, online, whose mother was German and father was Russian. His mother's brother fought for the Germans (WWII). His father, as a young man, escaped to Estonia, from communist USSR, only to be caught and imprisoned by the Nazis in Estonia. Very complicated history in that part of the world and modern day Estonia is both anti Russian (because of the past and communism) and Nazi sympathetic.
