Agreed. While I did not see the video you speak of, it's something that has happened before, over the past eight years. This tactic of making up "war crimes" is also typical of the west as happened with the Gulf war and the babies dumped out of incubators bullshit; chemical attacks by Assad in Syria and rapes by Gaddafi's forces in Libya.

Their military needs to be tested and given some experience before they even think about taking Taiwan with the US pledged to defend.

I don't think they will try anything unless they can participate in a live conflict first. AN untested army is like buying a gun and never taking it to the range and firing it. It cannot be relied upon as it is an unknown quantity.

China has already made the offer to Russia to send troops etc, but no evidence that this is happening. Again, Putin is being VERY restrained in all of his actions in Ukraine.

Not sure all the reasons, but I think there are 2 main ones:
1) he does not want to kill or harm the Ukraine civilians, just their NAZI army. and
2) trying to prevent WWIII which involving CHina would likely instigate. NATO and the US would jump in with all 4 feet at that point. Russia will lose that battle, and switch to nukes to survive, and all hell will be unleashed.

Not the good kind of hell. The bad kind. :)

While watching these videos, it dawned on me that Russia is just doing a Stand Your Ground operation. It's legal and a valid response to a deadly threat.

President Vladimir Putin may speak on Tuesday, September 20, regarding referendums in the territories of the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
